°ÅÀÖÊÓƵ (°ÅÀÖÊÓƵ) partners with local high schools across our region, including Cape Cod, the Islands, and southeastern Massachusetts, to offer you an exciting opportunity - it's called Dual Enrollment. This means you can take college classes at °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ while still in high school.
Imagine this: you keep up with your high school requirements and, at the same time, earn college credits. It's like getting a head start on your college education and building your future.
In order to be eligible to participate in the Dual Enrollment program, you must meet these requirements:
Be a Massachusetts high school student, or homeschooled student, who is at least 16 years of age.
If you are under the age of 16, you need °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ permission and must complete an Under-Age Student Appeal for Enrollment form, which is available from a Dual Enrollment Advisor.
Please note: this process takes additional time and should be started as early as possible to ensure admittance to the Dual Enrollment program.
Attain a minimum 2.5 grade point average or above at your high school.
If you have a GPA less than 2.5 but greater than 2.0, you may be eligible for Dual Enrollment. A written recommendation from a school advisor or official and placement testing are required.
You are not guaranteed participation even if you meet general eligibility guidelines. Participation is at the discretion of °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ administration and subject to capacity constraints.
